The (original) intent was to shoot a silhouette of an isolated leafless tree with either Lake Superior or a plain landscape with sunset in the background but not paying enough attention to Mathematics meant that Sun was setting few tens of degrees off from where I thought it was going to set.
Using the pair of snow shoes that Santa brought me for Christmas 2009, I ventured out to the frozen Lake Superior surface only to witness waves crashing the icy shores, often chipping away the same icy formations and resulting in such splendid splashes.
