2011: Spider Man Skiing

Wanting to capture the groomed snow scraped off the skis, I decided to climb up the slopes of Mont Ripley (in my regular hiking shoes) – not paying attention to either how steep the slopes are OR how much work out my unworked cardio-vascular organs were about to get OR how I was to manage my way down.

Reward for all this recklessness was photographs like this and of course, an awesome ride (or I should say, slide) down the slopes with breathtaking views of the greater Houghton metropolitan area!
